| Panther: |
 |
|
Panther has spent a lifetime (almost 60 years) talking to animals, rocks, trees, humans and other sentient
beings. (She has occasional doubts about the sentience of her own species, but perseveres patiently
and with great good humor.) As a child, she spent many early morning hours under a forsythia bush
chatting with the Fey after climbing out her window. Many of her former high school classmates
remember her as the girl who believed in fairies. Needless to say, she still does.
She came to witchcraft in 1999 in her usual brash style, by attending a workshop on Imbolc out of
sheer curiosity and ending up casting the circle in ritual. At the time, she was still singing in the
choir elsewhere, and still sees no conflict in that. She is, however, aware of the difference.
She was not able to attend Witch Camp until 2005, after the death of both parents, who generously
sent her to summer camp with part of her inheritance. It was a great healing experience to be in
Phoenix Path, since she had certainly walked through the fire during the previous year. It is an
honor to work with Caillean in bringing the awesome experience of the Elements to seekers.
She is a singer, healer, artist, mystic, lover of trees, computer expert, able administrator, guide,
guardian, and fierce warrior. She is a Spear of The Morrigan, Who called her first, very unexpectedly
and quite forcibly. She is a dedicant of Brighid, and do Her work when Bast isn't insisting she clean
litter boxes and fill food bowls. Durga looks in ever so often to check up on her, and of course
Mama Panther is always prowling the precincts. The Ladies get along very well, and tend to
thump her over the head with the cosmic newspaper when she gets lazy. Her life is never dull.

| Evelyn: |
| |
|
Evelyn has co-facilitated a path at SpiralHeart 2008 with Raven. Within the SpiralHeart community, she has taught a workshop on group facilitation in a magical context with Rook. She has also taught facilitation and consensus process in many other nonprofit and community settings. She is a part-time university teacher (environmental and economics issues). She is committed to a participatory, learner-centered model of teaching in all the contexts in which I teach.
Among Evelyn's many passions is healthy, effective group process to create sustainable cultures and communities. She believes that the skills of working together as healthy, healing communities are the key technologies that will determine what path our culture takes next. She has poured this passion into studying, practicing, and teaching group facilitation and consensus process within the pagan and progressive communities for many years, and has learned much about the magic of community by serving as one of SpiralHeart's meeting facilitators.

| dragonlily: |
|
|
|
The only Reclaiming experience dragonlily will have had by camp is co-teaching Elements with Caillean for
WildChild 2009. She has also taught at both graduate and undergraduate levels for approximately 10 years, and has
also taught small groups and individuals the three levels of Reiki.
From the day she was born, dragonlily believed in the reality and power of the unseen. Her life’s journey initially took a
meandering route through the metaphysical aspects of various spiritual traditions, until 10 years ago she answered the call of the
Goddess. Since then, she lives her passion of walking through doors marked “authorized personnel only” in the realms of mystery and
magick.
Outside of camp, dragonlily plays with fabric and jewelry and sings under the pines. She tends to her family and her so-called
feral kitty, chants, practices sitting, and occasionally bursts into spontaneous dance.
Strengths include: creativity (helps in planning a variety of juicy activities, being aware of and using the energy present in
the moment, being open to in-the-moment possibilities; commitment (manifests in careful planning, daily review of how things went and
what could improve/enhance the experience, openness to suggestions); personal experience running the pentacle as a practice; adequate
drummer and chant leader; trust in the Goddess (sometimes the best laid plans need to go out the window). In addition, dragonlily
loves to play and laugh and she has a really really loud voice when it’s called for.

| Paul: |
|
|
Paul has never taught a Reclaiming class. He is a professional teacher ( Towson University, Dept. Philosophy and Religious Studies, Adjunct in Environmental Studies). His social mission informs his teaching.
Paul has been a spiritual-political activist through many twists and turns of life's path, from living on the streets to his current occupation as a professor of philosophy and environmental studies. He is a student of numerous intellectual and spiritual traditions. Paul plays a bamboo flute, reads books, and cares for watersheds. He can often be found playing go, making candles, and carving magical things out of fallen cedar.

| Julie Rabbit: |
 |
|
Julie Rabbit has been a Reclaiming Witch since 1979, the year the Spiral Dance came out. She got
her early training in San Francisco but has been in touch with her Fae side ever since early childhood. Dedicated to
Brigid, she likes to play with fire and in water and can sometimes be eloquent. Now living in Richmond, VA, she tries
to create a sense of magic and wonder through sacred crafting, whether it be altar building, intentional embroidery
and beadwork, pagan cake making, any bit of fluff and sparkle are her tools. Rabbit has a gift for ritual
priestessing, especially leading trances. Also an initiate in the Feri tradition she spends a lot of time peeking
into mysterious places and, together with her allies, waging a War of Love.
|
| JuJuBee & Puddles: |
|
|
JuJuBee is a sock monkey of rare style and charm. Fairly new to the pagan scene, she hopes to
learn from her friend Puddles and deepen the work they began at the 2008 SpiralHeart Witchcamp. She is very talented
at deep witnessing. Her passion is to be photographed in all the right places. |
 |
|
Puddles is a stuffed duck living with Willie in the West Virginia woods. Stuffed in 2004, he was resting on a shelf in Rite-Aid when he met Willie in the spring of that year. Since then, he rests very comfortably on Willie’s pillow.
Puddles is proud to have attended five witchcamps (though the first one was kind of boring since he spent the whole week in Willie’s tent.) He has also attended two Feri camps in Missouri and flown in a plane all the way to California and back. He has survived over ten baths in the washing machine (and dryer). He has met real live ducks twice. He acts as road manager for Tuckered Pup, and loves to listen to songs of many, many verses. He is also known to have a strong desire to be able to speak any word of even one syllable.
Puddles craft work is deeply rooted in the magic of silence. He is skilled in deep witnessing, anchoring, holding ground and bringing back others who may have strayed a little too far away in trance. He has also generously served in the role of talking stick for affinity group work.

| WillCastle: |
 |
|
WillCastle (you can call him Willie) is a Feri and Reclaiming witch living in the West Virginia woods. Initiated in 2003, he is proud to be a part of the growing eastern line of Feri. He is also proud to be a part of the SpiralHeart witchcamp community for the last thirteen years.
WillCastle’s craft work is deeply rooted in devotional magic. Through word, song, and story he hopes to help restore the ancient bond between human and fay. He carves wood, makes wine, and loves songs of many, many verses. He is also known to have a strong dislike for words of more than two syllables. (Three syllables are alright when used sparingly.)
Willcastle has a fierce and abiding love for Brigid. When he took his first uncertain steps on the path, it was she who beckoned to him. His very first ritual was in honor of her day. He has drunk from her well. He has fed upon her flame, and the bright, strong parts of his spirit were forged upon her anvil. Many long years ago he pledged his heart and his hand to her service. Whenever he has strayed from that service, she awaits his return with patience. And he always does return. |
| Caillean: |
 |
|
Caillean’s teaching experience includes teaching horseback riding and veterinary surgery.
Caillean has been witch at heart since childhood, aggravating the nuns at her school by saying that "god really could be a woman" and that "beings other than humans must have spirits". Caillean discovered Reclaiming at a weekend workshop by Starhawk and instantly found a spiritual community. She has attended every Spiral Heart witchcamp since 2000 and was initiated after camp in 2007.
Caillean is an energetic Crone who looks for excuses to race around like a little kid. She likes being unconventional and tends to defy rules that don't make sense to her. She's a Celt who loves the sound of drums and bagpipes. She craves being outdoors and enjoys thunderstorms and blizzards. Caillean gets great joy from working with the Spiral Heart organizers and has been registrar for the last five years (as well as part time altar builder, "go-fer" and pack mule).
Caillean's daily magickal practice involves a close and loving relationship with the Goddess's furry ones as a veterinary surgeon with a practice in Pennsylvania. Her home is shared with multiple rescued strays including a husband (yes, he was a stray, it's a long story), a dog, cats, guinea pigs, rats and the occasional transient opossum, woodchuck or bat. She doesn't take herself too seriously and doesn't expect others to either. It's hard to be serious with a woodchuck sitting on one's head.

| Yarrow: |
 |
|
Yarrow has taught Elements both as weekly meetings and as long weekend.
Yarrow has a few poems under his belt, a few theorems, a few arrests, a few prayers. He's mowed grass in a cemetery, cut sugar cane in Cuba, written computer programs below a morgue. Loves have left his life in the last year or two, and loves have come in. He is grateful to all of them.
He's helped organize the SpiralHeart Witchcamp for ten years and is an initiate of the Reclaiming and Feri traditions. He loves the Iron Pentacle, the dance of light and shadow, the strength that comes from facing our weaknesses, the wisdom that comes from making mistakes. He meddles.
Yarrow calls himself empathetic and good at shifting energy when things are tense. He has been around Reclaiming long enough that I'm comfortable speaking authoritatively about it (as opposed to speaking authoritatively for it!) He is able to mix that up with Younger Self energy in ways that sometimes surprise people and he can usually wing it when plans don't work out.
