Classes & Events
SpiralHeart as well as local communities in our general region offer core classes, workshops, and public events that are based-on, but not limited to, Reclaiming Tradition practices. "Core classes" have been designated by San Francisco Reclaiming as the basic curriculum for learning the Reclaiming Tradition.
SpiralHeart also offers two annual retreats we fondly call "Witch Camps". A Witch Camp gives us an opportunity to disengage from the mundane world, so that we may concentrate on developing our skills, and celebrate our connections with Nature and each other. One of the retreats is a four-day camp held around Memorial Day weekend which is open to all ages; we call it WildChild WitchCamp. The other retreat is a week-long retreat, this year referred to as the Isis and Osiris camp, and is limited to adults.
If you're putting on an event that you'd like listed on this web page, or posted to our announcement list, see our submittal form and requirements. If you would like to have a class offered in your area, you can either email us here at info@spiralheart.org, or find a teacher close to you through the Reclaiming Community Resource Collaborative (RCRC).

Baltimore Reclaiming Imbolc Celebration January 29, 2010
Where's
your passion? Your growing edge? The thing you're finally going to do,
or stop doing? What are you committed to learning, becoming, beginning,
or developing a deeper relationship with?
Come to Baltimore Reclaiming's annual Imbolc/ Candlemas candle dedication ritual/spellworking! This year it will be held on the Friday night before Imbolc at the Whole Gallery in downtown Baltimore.
Our ritual intention is to declare, witness, support, celebrate, and empower our dedications to each of our work for the coming year. Due to the Friday night thing, we're not planning a lengthy afternoon craft session beforehand, so bring your candles already decorated to represent what you dedicate to for the year. Your dedication could be to a project, a change to make, an element or deity to work with, a quality you'd like to deepen in yourself…whatever your intention for the year is. Generally we use 7 day candles -- the kind in glass jars -- with the glass painted, collaged, written on, glittered, etc., but you may bring any kind of candle you like that represents your working.
In sacred space, we will each declare our dedication to be witnessed and affirmed and celebrated by the group, and light our candles. Then we'll raise some energy to empower all of the workings. At the end of the ritual, we'll blow out the candles, take them home, and relight them to finish the spell. Some folks burn them all at once, over the next seven days to seal the spell. Others burn them throughout the year, as they work with their dedications.
Come with drums, musical instruments, and your voice.
Friday, Jan 29, 7 pm gather and ritual to start soon after that.at the Whole Gallery, 405 W. Franklin St., downtown Baltimore, MD on the SE corner of the intersection of Franklin and Eutaw Streets, on the 3rd floor of the H&H Camper's Haven building. The main entrance to the upper floors is on W. Franklin (The door is labeled 403-405 W. Franklin; ring bell marked "The Whole" for entry).
The Whole is readily accessible by all major forms of MTA public transit: Light rail Centre Street stop,
